Appendix N Book Club 
I thought the first book in this series, The Maker of Universes, was — okay. I have some trouble suspending disbelief with the wedding cake world, which is largely what that book gave us a tour of. I loved The Gates of Creation, though.
So I was a little shocked that Farmer had abandoned Jadawin to focus on Kickaha. But you all are absolutely right. This works. He is a great character, and this book is a thrill ride. Really enjoyable.
